Fort Thomas History Museum

Fort Thomas History Museum

Fort Thomas served as an induction center during WWI and WWII, where over 80,000 individuals enlisted for military duty. Many original buildings from this historic site still remain, now known as Tower Park. The Fort Thomas Military and Community Museum features eight exhibition rooms, including displays on military history (from the Spanish-American War to recent conflicts), community history, local art, a memorial room for the Beverly Hills Supper Club, and more. Additional tours can be arranged, and visitors can explore a historic walking tour of the Fort and the adjacent Historic Midway District, which was established to support military needs. In December 2011, the museum hosted a Smithsonian exhibit through the Kentucky Humanities Council.

The museum is open from noon to 4:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and the first and third Saturdays of each month.
